Harvey A. Goralnick — president

Harvey founded FOCUS Partners LLC in 1996 after two decades of Wall Street and IR experience.  Harvey has headed syndicate departments at top investment banks across the nation.  He was a general partner at Boettcher & Company, where he managed the syndicate department, and later headed syndicate operations at S.G. Warburg & Company, where, as managing director, he was responsible for marketing U.S. issues domestically and internationally.  More recently, he was National Sales Manager of Equity Product in the syndicate department at Prudential Securities, where he supervised the marketing of approximately $8 billion of equity transactions in one year, generating over $270 million in commissions.  

Harvey began his career as a research analyst for Lehman Brothers.  Moving into the capital markets area, he worked with the management of issuers, research analysts and investment bankers to develop slide and multimedia presentations, and road shows for institutional and retail clients for hundreds of IPOs and follow-on offerings. 

Harvey received his MBA from New York University, where he majored in finance and concentrated in investment analysis, and his BS in business administration from Nasson College.  He is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts, the National Investor Relations Institute, and has received Series 7 and 63 securities licenses.
