About Stephen
Steve is a Director in the Institutional Operations team. He oversees the operations of Focus’s commingled funds and the offering of private fund investments for both institutional and private-client segments. This includes execution of trades, fund reporting and oversight of third-party service providers. Steve is also a member of our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council.
Steve served as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at New Providence Asset Management prior to their merger with Focus Partners in 2021. Previously, Steve was the Chief Financial Officer of Promethean Asset Management LLC, a multi-strategy investment management company. Prior to joining Promethean, Steve worked for Soros Fund Management LLC, the Principal Investment Advisor for the Quantum Group of Funds (the “Funds”), where he was responsible for the Funds’ tax and accounting administration. Steve began his career at the accounting firm Goldstein Golub Kessler & Company.
Steve earned his bachelor of science in accounting from Binghamton University and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of New York. He also holds a Chartered Due Diligence Analyst designation.
Outside of the office, Steve enjoys sports and the outdoors with family, and DIY projects at home.
