About Laura
As a Senior Integration Manager, Laura works closely with advisory teams that are new to Focus Partners. She acts as an advocate for these offices and trains them on the firm’s systems, tools and resources. She enjoys that her role often requires problem solving for complex situations, and her goal is for advisors to feel part of the Focus family from day one.
Laura joined Focus in 2009 and has held various roles in the firm, mostly in client service and relationship management before joining the onboarding and integration team. Prior to joining Focus, she worked as a server and bartender in restaurants for many years before becoming a restaurant manager for The Melting Pot in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Her restaurant service experience and client service experience have helped prepare her to guide advisors that are new to Focus. She graduated from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida, in 2007 with a bachelor’s in sociology.
Laura resides in St. Louis with her husband, Jim, and geriatric cat, Rudy. In her free time, she enjoys group exercise, cooking, hiking and spending time with her six nieces and nephews.
