As an Associate Wealth Advisor, Zach works with the Atlanta team to ensure Focus clients receive high-quality service and financial planning. In his role, he supports Wealth Advisors so they can better serve their clients and seamlessly implement financial plans. Zach enjoys working with the Atlanta team and for the clients they serve.
Zach’s life experiences motivated him to pursue a career in financial planning. He has always enjoyed helping people and seeks out roles that allow him to do that – his first job was in customer service in the service industry. In college, Zach gravitated toward finance courses and liked learning about the market and the different types of investment vehicles and strategies people use to achieve financial freedom. For Zach, joining Focus, where he can combine his love for client service and his passion for financial planning, was a no-brainer. And he learned quickly that each financial situation is different and, when it comes to investing, one size does not fit all—which keeps his role interesting. Zach finds that engaging with clients to learn their financial goals and creating a unique financial plan for them is fascinating and fulfilling work.
Zach earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. Before joining Focus, he was a junior financial consultant with Georgia Financial Advisors.
Born in Jacksonville, Florida, Zach moved to Hattiesburg, Mississippi, when he was 14 years old. He decided to stay and attend college there because he loved the community. Zach and his girlfriend Paris moved to Atlanta in June 2023, shortly after graduation. They love the city, and Zach says the Focus team has been amazing to work with. Zach and Paris enjoy going to concerts and festivals, which Atlanta offers plenty of. They also love exploring the Atlanta-area parks and the variety of restaurants the city has to offer. The couple has a golden doodle named Mello and a cat named Louis.
