Vanessa
Vanessa Wieliczko is the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and a Partner at
Focus Partners. As CIO, Vanessa leads the firm's Investment Committee, helping to
define future growth and development of investment management strategies. Under
Vanessa’s leadership, the firm has developed a robust investment platform that
offers both traditional investment approaches along with a host of alternative
strategies designed to offer substantial but secure income, better downside
protection and enhanced opportunity for growth.
Driven in pursuit of excellence, Vanessa holds the Chartered Financial
Analyst (CFA), Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), and Certified
Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designations. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Business
Management from Boston University's School of Management with a concentration
in International Finance.
Vanessa is active in the community, serving as President of the CFA Society
San Diego, a group of nearly 500 financial professionals. A Virginia native,
Vanessa has also lived in Boston, London, and New York, and has settled down in
San Diego’s Marina District Downtown. Vanessa goes above and beyond, having
achieved success professionally and in serving as a mentor, wonderful wife and
mother to three young boys.
