About Amy
Amy has more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. She is passionate about serving her clients. Amy uses her knowledge and experience in financial planning, estate planning, tax planning, wealth management, and behavioral finance to create optimized financial strategies. It is paramount to Amy that all her clients not only understand their financial plans but also feel comfortable and confident throughout the implementation of their wealth management strategies. She loves helping clients keep and make the most of what they have so they can spend more time doing what they love and maximize the tax benefits of giving to their favorite causes.
With a strong desire to learn tax law and estate planning, Amy went to law school with the primary intention of helping clients build and preserve wealth. Previously, Amy spent several years as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch and practicing estate planning.
A proud native Texan, Amy grew up in Kingwood, Texas, outside of Houston, and spent most of her young life dancing competitively. She attributes this experience to her sense of personal responsibility, strong attention to detail, and unyielding work ethic. Amy is most proud of her three children. She and her husband Felix reside in the Montrose area of Houston. In her free time, Amy most enjoys learning new things, yoga, photography, live music, and anything that involves a coastline.
