About Clarissa
For more than two decades, Clarissa has helped clients achieve their financial goals, and she particularly enjoys helping clients organize their financial lives and keep them on track to meet their long-term objectives. Joining Focus Partners Wealth in 2026, Clarissa provides comprehensive financial planning and investment advisory services to her clients. Prior to joining Focus Partners, she spent 16 years at Kovitz, Transform Wealth, Carnick & Kubik, and Carnick & Company. She also provided retirement and employee benefits guidance at the Principal Financial Group and AmSouth Bank.
Clarissa is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) and previously served on their national Board of Directors. She chaired their Public Policy Committee and Women’s Initiative and was the board liaison to the Diversity and Inclusion Initiative. She has also served on the regional boards of NAFPA and the Financial Planning Association (FPA), as well as the City of Colorado Springs Investment Advisory Committee, and she was the president of the Junior League of Colorado Springs, among other board service.
In her free time, Clarissa enjoys spending time with her husband, Mike, and daughter, Charlotte (who is a competitive dancer and figure skater), volunteering with the Junior League of Denver and the Denver Colorado Figure Skating Club, and striving to improve her high-altitude baking skills.
