Jeff Harrison is a Managing Director of Tax Services at Focus Partners Wealth. Prior to joining Focus Partners Wealth in November 2021, Jeff was a founder of Harrison, McCarthy & Co., which provided over 25 years of accounting and tax services to its clients. Jeff specializes in tax, business consulting, and financial planning. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of CPAs.
Jeff has a B.S. degree from the University of Maryland and did graduate work at the American University in Washington, D.C. He has a Certificate of Educational Achievement in personal financial planning under the auspices of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He became a CPA in 1982 and is licensed to practice in New York, New Jersey, and Maryland.
Jeff has lectured at various hospitals and the Greater New York Dental meeting. He has been admitted as an expert witness in New York State Supreme Court. Previously, he was the Treasurer of Temple Beth Shalom in Livingston, NJ and the treasurer of Family Connections, a leading social services organization dedicated to changing lives with a wide range of programs to counter trauma, mental illness, addiction, domestic violence, and child abuse.
