About Marc
Marc joined Focus Partners Wealth in 2026 after he and his partners founded Kovitz in October 2003 to provide asset management services and solutions to high net worth individuals and institutions. Before co-founding Kovitz, Marc joined Rothschild Investment Corporation in 2001 in the firm's Investment Management department. He has also been a partner in the Chicago law firms of Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg; Rosenberg & Liebentritt; and Hopkins & Sutter, specializing in real estate and corporate finance and representing various public and private corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, and individuals.
Marc is a member of Young Presidents Organization and serves on the board and various committees of the Jewish United Fund, including chairing the investment committee. Marc is also chair of the Board of Nourishing Hope (formerly known as Lakeview Pantry).

-University of Illinois–Champaign-Urbana – bachelor’s degree in accounting, earning recognition on the Bronze Tablet
-University of Chicago – Juris Doctor and awarded the Order of the Coif
