About Michael
Michael has more than 20 years of experience running, advising, and investing in companies. Prior to joining Focus Partners Wealth, Michael spent more than 10 years with Sonora Investment Management. Prior to that, he worked for Alvarez & Marsal, where he provided interim management and investment banking services to large and middle market corporations. Some of Michael’s responsibilities included pro forma financial modeling, cash flow forecasting, business plan reviews, due diligence, asset sales, debt capacity analyses, and valuation of companies. Prior to A&M, Michael worked in New York for the institutional equity research group at Sanford C. Bernstein. Michael started his career in the corporate restructuring group of a big five accounting firm.
Michael resides in Phoenix with his wife and daughters, where they are involved with several nonprofit organizations. He currently serves on boards of directors for The Desert Stages Theatre and the Arizona Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation. An avid sports fan, Michael enjoys playing golf, skiing, traveling, and spending time with his family.
