About
Michelle
Michelle joins Focus with more than 15 years of experience in project management and hire education and staffing.
Prior to Focus, Michelle worked for more than 10 years in project management for multiple suppliers for companies like Walmart, Sam’s, Costco, Kroger, and Target. She also supported multiple VPs and buyers and took part in training and mentoring team members. Additionally, Michelle spent more than six years in hire education, overseeing admissions teams for several nursing and engineering programs. She also managed partnerships and trained staff.
Michelle is super enthusiastic about education and is constantly learning. She enjoys learning and watching others learn new things—a passion instilled by her mother and grandmother, who were teachers. Michelle credits her own amazing teachers and coaches that have made an impact on her life, and she feels it is important for her to do the same for others when possible. Outside of the office, Michelle enjoys spending time with her sons, Brandon and Clayton, as well as her dogs, Apollo and Rocky. When possible, she loves to travel, dance, ride horses, hike, kayak, and learn a new language (she is currently working on French).
Education and Professional Milestones
-California State University, East Bay - bachelor’s degree in business management with a minor in finance
