Mitch
Mitch is a distinguished leader in the wealth management industry. He is committed to fostering a culture of innovation and positivity that empowers all members of the firm and their clients to succeed. In October 2003, Mitch and his partners founded Kovitz to provide asset management services and financial solutions to high-net-worth individuals and institutions nationwide. At Kovitz, Mitch also served as the firm’s co-chief investment officer in Chicago, sat on multiple investment teams, and was the managing principal of the firm’s Family Office Services division where he acted as CIO to select families.
Before founding Kovitz, Mitch was president of Rothschild Investment Corporation. He has been featured in publications such as Crain’s Chicago Business, the Chicago Tribune, the Chicago Sun-Times, U.S. News & World Report, and Value Investor Insight. He has also appeared on Bloomberg broadcast television. In April 2023, Mitch had the honor of ringing The Opening Bell® at the NYSE.
Mitch is proud to be an alumnus of the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, which his wife and three daughters also attended.
