About Rege
Rege is a Vice-Chair of Focus Partners Wealth. He is a member of Focus' Executive Committee and Investment Committee. Rege has more than 33 years of asset management, asset allocation and portfolio construction experience.
Prior to joining Focus Partners Wealth, Rege was the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of InterOcean Capital Group, LLC (“InterOcean”). He was a founding partner of InterOcean where he directed the portfolio management, research, security selection, and financial planning functions. Rege was the lead portfolio manager for InterOcean’ s Large Capitalization Core, Equity Income and Option, Equity Hedge, Global ETF, and Tactical Diversifying portfolios. InterOcean merged with Focus Partners in 2024.
Prior to forming InterOcean Capital in 2005, Rege served as a Senior Vice President at Morgan Stanley, a Vice President of the Montgomery Private Client Services Group at Banc of America Securities, and Vice President of the Capital Markets Group at Bank of America. Rege also served for 18 years on the Northern Illinois University Foundation board and as Treasurer of the foundation.
Rege holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the Nashville Security Analysts Society. Rege earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Eastern Illinois University, Summa Cum Laude, and an MBA from Northern Illinois University.
