About Ryan
As the manager of trading operations, Ryan Ely consistently monitors and trades client portfolios to ensure they are accurately allocated to their planned risk tolerance in a cost-efficient and tax-efficient manner. By dedicating their watch to client portfolios, his team helps provide advisors the ability to focus on the planning with clients, that otherwise would be spent monitoring portfolios.
Finding an instant passion for it, Ryan has dedicated his entire career to portfolio management. He previously worked for Larson Financial, beginning as an intern and then transitioning to portfolio manager. He joined Focus in 2018.
Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a finance emphasis from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Outside his role, Ryan loves playing music with friends. A guitar player since youth, he also actively plays with groups around the city. He currently resides in St. Louis in the beautiful Benton Park neighborhood with his wife.
