Shequeta supports advisory teams by delivering comprehensive financial guidance, assisting in meeting preparation, and tending to ongoing client needs. She has a longstanding passion for helping others better understand important financial decisions and life transitions.
Prior to joining Focus, Shequeta worked in financial planning and advisory roles, serving individuals and families. Before that, she spent 10 years with General Motors in customer experience, aftersales, and management roles.
Outside of the office, Shequeta enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, exploring the Chicago area, and staying involved in her children’s activities, including dance, gymnastics, and swimming.

-Southern Illinois University - bachelor’s degree in finance
-Northern Illinois University – MBA
-University of Bordeaux – MIM (master’s degree in international management)
-Holds a Series 65 license
